Jesse M. Moreno, P.E., LEED-AP

Managing Partner

Jesse Moreno is a registered Professional Engineer in all of the six New England states. He is also a LEED-accredited professional specialized in the incorporation of sustainable design practices within site development. Jesse’s expertise extends to civil site design and permitting, with advanced knowledge and experience in storm water management and wastewater treatment systems.

Jesse’s practical approach to design has roots in his youth, where he gained hands-on experience in his family’s construction company. His career spans positions as Estimator and Office and Steel Engineer supporting Peter Kiewit Sons, Inc. and Grow Tunneling Corp., both in the heart of New York City. Jesse has also acted as Superintendent for both heavy civil and retail store build out projects.

Jesse Moreno holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State University.

Thomas E. Johnson, P.E.

Managing Partner

Tom Johnson is a seasoned wireless veteran who has worked with cellular phone carriers since 2000, developing and upgrading their networks. As Managing Partner of Proterra Design Group, LLC, he melds civil engineering and site development expertise with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, a business value he learned at a young age while working in the restaurant industry.

Tom has provided essential engineering support for numerous types of wireless installations in a range of permitting environments. He has sites designed, constructed, and on-line from the pine forests of Maine to historic buildings in downtown Boston and the rural hills of Virginia.

Tom is a registered Professional Engineer within multiple states throughout the Northeast. He holds an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Northeastern University.
